New Features Coming to the Fiat

The Fiat 500X is a crossover SUV, and the 2019 version has a new engine option, which is a smaller turbo-4 that spins out plenty of power and promises to improve your fuel economy, and it does its job well.

Of course, the 500X was already well-loved by consumers, but the newer 1.3-liter turbo-4 engine comes with 177 horsepower and intrigues car lovers everywhere. This version comes with all-wheel drive, which is a new feature, as well. Previous versions had front-wheel drive. On most models, you can choose which drivetrain feature you desire, though some trims and models only have one option available, so it depends on what you want to drive and what the carmaker has chosen for the vehicle.

While the 500X is making waves and getting people to fall in love all over again, the Fiat lineup isn’t finished with additions; many of their vehicles have been upgraded or have new features this year. Below are just a few of them and what is new, added or upgraded.

Spider

The 2019 124 Spider (Fiat) now includes a Monza sport exhaust feature for the 1.4-liter engine. It also has a retro-inspired package for appearances that takes you back to the original Fiat stylings. The Spider also has two tape stripe package options for the exterior, and they are inexpensive to purchase. Along with such, the Veleno Appearance Package is also available, which is an Abarth-inspired option and includes red/black accents.

500 Series

The Fiat 500 had a retro-style edition that left showrooms last year, but it is now back. Along with such, the rearview camera feature is now standard on all 500s. The 500 L has two new color options and a garage door opener, which now comes standard on the Lounge and Trekking trim levels.
